This mini project is where we made diagrams of our plants that we found outside. When choosing a plant I look for one that I thought no one would pick. I choose the nonflowering thistle and spent quite a bit of time on my first draft. Next we went and gave feedback on each others work. I took my feedback and revised my first draft to get a nice looking product.

For my wildfire project I was studying "How to control or mitigate wildfires?" I found this to be a good question for this project. On the right you can see the outcome of the project and I will explain how I got there. When starting the project I made a draft of what my project and what I was studying. The fist module would have a border around the house. The second one had no mitigation strategies and the third one had a healthy forest. All of them were chosen carefully. After I got them designed I when to make the modules. I use a pie tin to hold the dirt and then placed matches in it. The matches were placed evenly as possible and then lit on fire. The fire on M1 (Module 1) spread to the top of the tin and burned a lot of the trees but the house was fine. The fire on M2 spread to a lot of the trees and the house was destroyed. For the last module the trees did not spread to a lot of the trees because it hade a healthy forest. In conclusion, have a healthy forest or having afire barrier keeps people safe.
